Newsletter- Summer 2009 (Volume 1, Issue 2)

Pet of the Month…Meet Lolly!

Lolly is one of the most gentle-hearted pooches that we’ve ever had the honor of caring for!   She is a fourteen-year-old cocker spaniel with plenty of stubble-tail-wagging left in her!  It’s always nice spending time with Lolly- relaxing with her in her backyard, or taking leisurely strolls through her serene golf course filled neighborhood.  Lolly also loves children and car rides with her seatbelt!  She just warms the hearts of everyone she meets!

LOLLY’S FURRY, FUN FACTS:

Favorite toy:  Mom or dad’s lap J

Favorite treat:  Cheez-its and sourdough French bread

Favorite ‘pastime’:  Being with people or sleeping near someone

Favorite park:  Neighborhood golf course

It’s that time of year: Don’t forget flea and tick Meds!

It’s that time of year again: the fleas and ticks seem to be out in full-force, ready to set-up home in the coats of unsuspecting dogs and cats!  What can start off as an unpleasant pest problem can quickly turn into an infestation.  Prevention is the best course of action when it comes to combating the determined wills of all those bloodsuckers!  The most popular, and veterinarian recommended, brands of flea and tick medication are Frontline and Advantage.  They are available at most vet clinics and some pet stores as well.  Get a recommendation from your vet- the right medication largely depends on the species and the size of your pet.  They would also be more than happy to help you apply the medication, or you can call on us and we can take care of it for you!  Your pets will be free of those itchy nuisances and so will your home!
